for practitioners and teachers of yoga interested in deepening their own personal practice; and for instructors looking to refine their teaching skills.

Subjects covered: asana and the vitalizing power of movement; pranayama and breath; functional anatomy and physiology and it's relevance to the practice; philosophy; building the bridge between asana practice, the deeper philosophy of yoga and everyday life; meditation and listening; the art of teaching, communication, reading bodies, and touch.​

What does a day look like?

The Practice

09:00 - 12:00

Asana Practice

A 3h Iyengar Yoga class oriented around the theme of the week. Infused with teaching and sequencing gems from Billys 30+ years of teaching. Tobias assists and gives personal attention if needed. 

15:00 - 16:15

The Living Anatomy of Asana

Deepen your understanding of the asana practice through our dynamic and interactive way of teaching anatomy. We use power point presentations, palpation/touch, movements, and group exercises to make the anatomy come alive and inform your practice.

12:00 - 15:00 

Lunch AND Reflection

Eat, digest, reflect!

16:15 - 17:15

Functional movement + Myofascial release

Following the anatomy class we work practically with the same muscles enhancing the felt understanding of the anatomy of the family of postures that we are working on this weekend. Here you will also be given the specific keys to unlock the most common restrictions related to the subject. 

17:15 - 18:00

Pranayama, Inversions and guided meditation.

Rounding of the day with pranayama and inversions taught by Billy or a guided meditation with Tobias.
